If you have not done so already, print out that section of the Principles of Statistics that details the topics included on the exam. Use this as a check list to make sure you have covered everything that is on the exam; yet not wandered too far afield.
Glossary Arjomand provides a good glossary of terms on his lecture home page. Click on Electronic Textbook.Start by looking up Statistics in the Encyclopedia Britannica in order to gain an overview and introduce you to the specialized terminology of the field.
Plan 2 study sessions to review some of the basics of statistics as presented by Niles (for his class of journalism students).
Plan 2 or 3 study session to explore Elementary Concepts in Statistics from the StatSoft Electronic Textbook.
Alternate between Lectures in Business Statistics by Dr. L. Arjomand, School of Business Clayton Community State College.
and
Introduction to Statistical Methods by R. B. Campbell, University of Northern Iowa.
Print out both of these pages. Check off each topic as you go.
About a third of the way through, go back to Elementary Concepts in Statistics from the StatSoft Electronic Textbook, and click on Basic Statistics as a review.
Then go to Cambell's Course Homepage and take the sample first test.
Take a study session to go back over those concepts where you might have had some difficulty.
Continue this method of alternating between Arjomand and Campbell, a few topics ar a time, stopping periodically to do a sample test and review.
Another site to visit periodically is Graphical Data Analysis by Jeff Banfield, Montana State University. Click on the TOC icon to go to the Table of Contents of this online text.
